Oswaldo Puentes AAI, Owner and Founder
Oswaldo Puentes is a graduate of the University of Houston. Upon graduation, he worked for several years in the engineering and finance industry before moving to the insurance world. In 1980, he became an insurance agent in the field of health and life insurance, as well as financial services. In 1983, Mr. Puentes shifted his focus to the property and casualty field, representing Farmers Insurance Group, which quickly became one of the most successful agencies in the state. With a desire to continuously improve, he completed his state examinations and earned his diploma as an Accredited Advisor in Insurance in 1986. Mr. Puentes remained with Farmers Insurance Group for nearly 30 years, during which time he achieved the highest possible honors.
In January 2013, Mr. Puentes decided to become an independent agent with the goal of expanding the coverage options and package discounts that he could offer his clients. As an independent agent, he looks forward to providing unparalleled customer service and a truly expansive selection of insurance coverage options from leading providers.
Esmeralda Mendez, General Manager
Esmeralda Mendez began her career with Puentes Insurance in 1997. She is proud to have held every position in the agency and has accumulated an impressive body of knowledge when it comes to our insurance products.
